Breakthrough in Teleportation

By Wayne Mulligan, on Thursday, March 26, 2015

Yesterday, during a closed-door meeting in San Francisco, the CEO of one of the largest technology companies in the world revealed a shocking new innovation:

He demonstrated a working version of a “Teleportation Station”...

Then, stunned guests were allowed to try it out for themselves.

As one attendee marveled, he was able to “teleport” directly to the tech company’s headquarters within seconds.

Could this be the future of travel?

And what will this development mean for this company’s stock price?

The Teleportation Station

The company I’m referring to is Facebook (NASDAQ: FB).

Yesterday, at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, CA, Facebook hosted its annual technology conference known as “F8.” This is where it demonstrates the new innovations and products it plans to launch.

There’s usually one development each year that captures everyone’s imagination.

This year, it was Facebook’s “Teleportation Station” – a device that allows users to be virtually anywhere in the world within a few seconds.

Here’s How It Works...

About a year ago, Facebook acquired a start-up by the name of Oculus VR.

The price tag? $2 billion.

Initially, the acquisition stumped most Wall Street analysts. They couldn’t figure out why Facebook would pay billions for a tiny young company.

Well, what Oculus revealed at the F8 event should give them their answer.

You see, Oculus is a virtual reality company. Simply put, its technology consists of a pair of high-tech goggles that, when worn, make the user feel as if they just stepped into another world. Well, that’s the theory, at least...

Historically, the virtual reality experience never quite hit the mark. It was either too slow or the graphics were unrealistic.

But then Oculus produced its game-changing headset.

The experience is extremely realistic. Take a look at this video to see the reaction of a man “riding on a roller coaster” with his Oculus headset.

And now Facebook is pushing the technology even further...

It’s using it to help people “teleport” to wherever their friends are.

Let me explain...

You Can Be “Virtually” Anywhere

In addition to the “teleportation station,” Facebook showed off another technology yesterday. It’s a video camera that allows you to record a “360-degree” video of the location where you’re standing.

You could be at the Eifel Tower in Paris, the Sistine Chapel in Rome or the Grand Canyon here in the States. Once you record it, you can post it to your Facebook account and your friends can view it.

The “magic happens” when one of your friends owns a pair of Oculus goggles...

By strapping on the goggles and viewing the video, your friend becomes fully immersed in the location where the video was shot.

They can look around...

They can see people passing by...

They can even move around and look at different objects in the vicinity.

It’s as if they were teleported to that very location.

The Future of Everything

We believe virtual reality technology is here to stay.

It’s set to transform everything from travel to education to medicine.

And when you combine it with a network like Facebook – where over 1 billion people are connected – the concept becomes even more powerful.

The applications for this type of technology are endless...

And the investment opportunities it creates are enormous.

How to Profit from VR Technology

The simplest ways to profit from this trend is to back innovative companies like Facebook that are pioneering the mainstream use of this technology.

But there are other ways to play an emerging trend like this as well...

For example, you could invest in virtual reality start-ups – before they get acquired by the likes of Facebook, or go public.

For example, last year, a young VR technology company called Virtuix was raising capital to expand its business.

Historically, this type of private investment opportunity would only have been offered to extremely wealthy individuals or venture capitalists...

But thanks to the JOBS Act – the new set of laws that’s enabling ALL investors to learn about and invest in early-stage deals – it was offered to investors like you, too.

In fact, we were so exited about this deal that we featured it in Crowdability’s newsletter on February 23rd, 2014.

More Opportunities On The Way

But don’t worry if you didn’t get into Virtuix or Oculus...

They won’t be the last virtual reality companies you’ll have the chance to invest in. We’ll continue to feature more early-stage deals in this emerging space as they arise.

If you’d like to learn more about how to find these types of investments – and how to properly evaluate them – then I hope you’ll attend our live training event this evening.

At 8:00 PM Eastern (5:00 PM Pacific), Matt and I will be hosting a live online training session. It doesn’t cost a thing.

We’ll reveal the specific strategies professional early-stage investors use to find, fund and profit from the most innovative technology companies.

And we’ll be showing regular investors, just like you, how to do the same.

Simply go to www.TheAngelInitiative.com tonight – we recommend showing up at 7:45 PM EST to secure your spot.

See you there.
